"Global Achievers Award-2011"

Prof. A. A. Kazi, Chairman of Cancer Aid & Research Foundation was honored by the prestigious “GLOBAL ACHIEVERS AWARD” for Outstanding Achievements & Distinguished Global Service by the Citizens Integration Peace Society (Regd.).

The award function which had an overwhelming participation from various noted personalities and dignitaries, was held on 27^th December 2011 – Dubai (U.A.E.) along with a high level conference on “CELEBRATING THE GLOBAL INDIAN”.

Prof. A. A. Kazi, Chairman of Cancer Aid & Research Foundation was honored by the prestigious “INDIRA GANDHI SADBHAVNA AWARD” for Social Service, by the Citizens Integration Peace Society-New Delhi.

The award function which had an overwhelming participation from various noted personalities and dignitaries, was held on 18^th November 2011 - New Delhi on the 94^th Birth Anniversary of Late Smt.Indira Gandhi.

Distribution of clothes and gifts at an orphanage

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation celebrated Childrens Day by taking young cancer patients for a day out to a Toy Mall in Mulund where they enjoyed playing with technologically advanced toys & games . Mr.Sanjay owner of Malbar Toy Mall in Mulund  also provided childrens with sweets & gifts.

Also CARF visited Anjuman-E-Mufidul Yatama, an orphanage for small childrens , where they distributed clothes and gifts . The event was organized by CARF a medical NGO providing free medical and financial aid to cancer patients for last 11 years.

6th Annual CARF Oration

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation a registered Medical NGO providing free medical & financial aid to cancer patients organised 6^th Annual CARF Oration at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai on 15^th October 2011.

The Hon’ble Orator for this years Annual Oration was Prof. Dan. M. Fliss M. D. Professor and Chairman Department Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery – Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. The interactive oration subject was “ Skull Base Surgery in the 21^st Century”.

Painting Competition for Cancer Patients

A Painting Competition was held at Cancer Aid and Research Foundation office in Byculla for the Cancer Patients on 24/9/2011.Greeting Cards, Gift bags and Diwali Diya’s were hand painted and packed by small Cancer Patients. They thoroughly enjoyed the activity. There was a Prize distribution and individually all the patients were given gifts of appreciation.
