Christmas & New Year Party for Cancer Patients.

                     Cancer Aid & Research Foundation a registered Medical NGO recently organized a Christmas & New Year Party for young Cancer patients.

                It was a full day event. Young cancer patients enjoyed Christmas & New Year party with CARF staff. So many fun games was there, which children’s thoroughly enjoyed with Santa Claus & anchor SHAMSHUL HASAN. Even they have given their best dance Performance. Celebration started at 12:00 pm an awesome way with delicious lunch. So many verities in dishes was there with green & healthy salad followed by dessert. Party started with lunch followed by secretary general speech, Santa Claus entry with gift n chocolate, so many fun games, dance & music, poem singing, and ended with cake n gift distribution by Prin. (Mrs.) Rashida A. Kazi (secretary general) , Prof A.A. Kazi (chairman-emeritus), Lunch organized by Ms. Parna Chatterjee one of our regular donor. At the end of party children’s were given gifts, chocolate, cake, soft drink, even the staff have enjoyed the day.

CARF ORATION & AWARDS 2013 FUNCTION HELD ON SATURDAY,16^th November, 2013

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation is a registered medical NGO established in the year 2001 with a mission to help the poor and needy cancer patients. Our core objective is to supply anti cancer medicines free of charge to the patients so as to get them cured and enjoy a new lease of life. This year we celebrated  CARF Oration & Awards 2013 function on  16^th November 2013  from  3.00  pm  to  6.00  pm at “Rangaswar ”  Y. B. Chavan Pratishthan, Nariman Point, Mumbai- 400 021.

The subject of Oration was “Experience of a Physicist in Cancer Institute” and our objective to celebrate Oration was to acknowledge the contribution of individuals in the field of Cancer. This Function was supported by Canara Bank. Shri BalaChandra KS Rao, General Manager, Mumbai region, Canara Bank was the Chief Guest.

Rev. Fr. Joe Pereira, Founder & Managing Trustee of Krupa Foundation & Recipient of PadmaShree Award was the President of the Function.

Mr. Suresh Sharma, Chairman of S.K. Consulting Group, Chairman Global Cancer Mission & Executive VP, India China Economic & Cultural Council & Well Wisher of CARF also graced the Function.

CARF Chairman Emeritus Prof. A.A. Kazi and CARF Chairman Prof. Dr Rehan A Kazi honoured the guest on Dias and in his speech he requested the BMC to reconsider their decision of asking CARF to vacate their place.

Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of cancer was given to Dr. I. S. Bala Krishnan, Consultant Medical Physics Department, Cancer Institute, Chennai, who was also our Orator of the program.

Award for Excellence in the field of Oncology was given to Dr. Priyadarshini Kulkarni, Medical Director, Cipla Palliative Cara & Training Centre, Pune.

Award for Outstanding Contribution in the field of Cancer was given to Ms. Lissl P. Joshep, who was retired Register nurse from Tata Memorial hospital, and the Award was received by Ms Jyoti Patel of Tata Memorial Hospital on her behalf.

World Rose Day 2013

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation  (CARF) a registered medical NGO provides free medical and financial aid to cancer patients Celebrated World Rose Day on 22^nd September 2013 in the pediatric ward of Sir. J. J. Hospital, Mumbai. This was the way of showing patients that our foundation are with them in their battle against disease, and our caring with believing in sharing their pain. The event was started  at 11:00 am in the pediatric ward of the hospital With the hands of Mr. Shamshi Mulla (COO), Mrs. Savita Nathani (GM) and Mrs Tabassum Khan (DGM). In the program from J. J. Hospital Dr. Sutay (Prof. Pediatric Dept., J. J. Hospital) and Dr. Kale was present however Dr. Rathod could not come due to some urgent work. This Celebration was attended by almost all the doctors of the Pediatric dept. J. J. Hospital. In this event all the patients from the Pediatric ward were distributed Roses, Apples and Gifts. The Doctors and the patients presented their expressions about our event and were feeling happy.

Free Medical Health Camp on 24th August 2013

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation established in 2001 by Prof A. A. Kazi has become the biggest Medical NGO in Maharashtra. So far we have disbursed approx Rs. 13 Crores among 6737 patients in the duration of 12 years. We organized a Free Medical Camp on 24th August 2013 at Kazi Clinic, Ramdevji Niwas, Shop No 2, Ground Floor, Dr. Maheshwari Road, Noor Baug, Near Dongri Police Station, Mumbai - 400 009.

CARF arranged a Free Medical Camp on the said date and venue in their fight against Cancer. On this Camp Dr. Asra, Dr. Azra, Dr. Suhail, Dr. Kale and Dr. Mulla were present for the free checkup and tests. In this camp almost 125 visitors / patients visited and out of these 70 patients were checked and their path tests were performed. Due to lack of space we both the ambulances were used for the purpose of the test and checkup. In the camp our chief guest for the camp Mr. Dilip Sawant (Branch Head - 229) Dongri Branch arrived and got himself checked to motivate the audience. From the CARF Prof. A. A. Kazi, Mrs. Rashida Kazi, Mrs. Tabassum Khan, Mr. Kumar Abinav and their complete team was present to make the camp successful.
