12th Foundation Day on 20th June 2013 Memorable Event Celebrating 12years of CARF

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation established in 2001 by Prof A. A. Kazi has become the biggest Medical NGO in Maharashtra.  So far We have disbursed approx Rs. 13 crore among 6737 patients in the duration of 12 years. We organized  a grand function to celebrate its 12^th Foundation Day on Thursday the 20^th June 2013 at Sri Shanmukhananda Hall, Sion, Mumbai – 400 022 at 5.00p.m.

Prof. A. A. Kazi (Chairman Emeritus), Dr. Rehan Kazi (Chairman), patron in honor : , Mr. R. K. Dubey, CMD, Canara Bank. Our Chief Guests were – Mr. Dr. H. Vinod Bhatt, VC, Manipal University Mr. M. V. Tanksale, CMD Central Bank of India, Our President for the day was  Mr. Hasan Chougule (Eminent Businessman, President of Ideal Foundation), Our Guest of Honors were  : Ms. Geeta Gawali (Municipal Chairperson, BMC), Prof. B. Raja Shekar, Dean Manipal University, Dr. Rushi Deshpandey, Dr. A. R. Undre, Doctor form Saifee Hospital, Mr. Zafar Bhai, The Biryani King, Ms. Kausar Hasan, w/o Mr Hassan Chougle, Mr. Amod Sharma, Ed, Indian Airlines, Mr Shravan Kumar Rathod, Famous Music Director, Mr. Pramod Hindurao, Ms. Anzel an Actress, Dr. Dharmendra from Kokilaben Hospital,  Dr. Ritu Biyani, Limka Book Record Holder for Cancer Awareness, Mr. Suresh Sharma-Chairman, S. K. Consulting and our Well Wisher, Mr. Pandit- the donor of New Ambulance  and so many other guests were present  there to encourage us , our donors and Cancer Patients. From our Board of Management Dr. Raj Tendulkar, Mr Shams Dean, Renound Businessman from Australia (Trustee) Prof A. A. Kazi (Chairman Emeritus), Prof. Dr. Rehan A. Kazi (Chairman), were present.

Our Event was supported by: Canara Bank, Reliance Commercial Finance, O.N.G.C, Central Bank of India, LIC, Bank of India and GIC.

Today’s Evening started with the inauguration of our New Ambulance Service donated by Mr. Vimlanand Pandit with the hands of Dr. H. Vinod Bhatt. The audience were welcome by Vanisha and Chairman Prof. Dr. Rehan A. Kazi Floral Felicitation of all the guests was done in between.Souvenir of the event was released by Patron in Honor Mr. R. K. Dubey, CMD Canara Bank. President of the Function Mr. Hassan Chougle released the biography of our Chairman  Emeritus Prof. A. A. Kazi.

After that awards to Best Staff and Highest Collection was given by our Chairman. Cheques to Cancer patient and certificates to prestigious donors were given by our guest of honors and Chief guests.In this function We disburse an amount of Rs 14.75 Lac among 10 patients

Finally all the audience was entertained by VIP and Bharti with their team of so many artists. They entertaines the audience by their mimicry, songs and dances.The event was organized by Shree Kali Kala Events.

Anti Tobacco Day 2013

Cancer Aid & Research Foundation had organized three activities for Cancer Awareness on the occasion of Anti Tobacco Day 2013 on 31^st May 2013 at different places. This Day is organized every year by the foundation to spread Cancer Awareness and make the cancer patients happy

The 1^st Program was started with the Screening of Cancer awareness film and there was a Medical Camp arranged in the Karvale Village, Near Saphale. In this camp more than 75 villagers were benefitted with the free treatment and speech by Dr. Dr. Kale (J. J. Hospital) & Dr. Satish Kolte (NSS). In this camp Students of KC College were equally participated for Cancer Awareness.  In 2^nd  program a CARF DRIVE was arranged to spread Cancer Awareness among the common Man of Mumbai in the Petrol Pump of Mazagaon, Mumbai and on the same time Students of K.C. College trained the Cancer patients to make Paper Bags and live independently in the CRC dept. of Carf.
